This will ease installation of the tool and prevent damage to the pressure bolt threadsIf necessary, apply penerratmg rype tJOncanr ro loosen lhe ball OIm
Insert the jaws ca refu lly, ma king sure that you do nol damage the ball jOint boot Adjust the jaw spacing by turning the pressure bolt
Once the ool is in place, turn the adjusting bolt as necessary to make the jaws parallelT hen hand tighten the pressu re bolt and recheck the jaws to ake sure they are still parallelT ighten the pressure bo lt wi th wrench until the ball joint shaft pops loose
