ELECTRIC POWER STEERING (EPS)
DTC TROUBLESHOOTING
Refer to the EPS connector location (page 24-4) to disconnect each connector in the troubleshooting
DTC 11 -01EXCESSIVE CHANGE OF THE VEHICLE SPEED SIGNAL (REGULAR DIAGNOSIS)
Before starting the troubleshooting, check the connectors for loose contacts or corroded terminals, and recheck the DTC Even though the syst em is operating normally
the EPS indicator will come on when the EeU detects conditions of Ole 11-01DTe 11-02 and or22-1

Check for operation of the speedometer
Does th speedometer operat orm ally? NO
- Perform the speedometer inspection

2Rear VS Sensor Sig na line
Inspect io Remove the following:
Open Circuit
REAR VS SENSOR CONNECTOR (Viewed from terminal side)
front fender (page 3-9) left inner fender (page 3-8)
