ELECTRIC POWER STEERING (EPS) DTCREADOUT NOTE :
Perform this procedure using fully charged batteryThe EPS indicator will stay lit and the ECU will abort the process if you use low or dead batteryStart the engine and check the DTe
When the ignition switch is turned to ON, the EPS indicator will stay on until engine start, then go offIf the OTe stays on or blinks, connect the HDS Pocket Tester to the OLeRead the DTC, freeze data and follow the troubleshooting index (page 24-15

To read the OTe with the EPS indicator blinking, refer to the following procedure

Turn the ignition switch to OFFRemove the seat (page 3-4)
