LIGHTSMETERSSWITCHES Oil mperature indicator does not go off Disconnect the 33P black connector from the ECM (page 21 -17),
Turn the ignition switch ON and check the oil temperature indicator
If the indicator does not come on, replace the ECM (page 19-8)Except TM model
If the indicator comes on, turn the ignition switch to OFF and disconnect the meter 14P gray connectorCheck for short circuit in the Bluered wire between the meter connect or and ECM connectorIf the wire is OK, replace the combination meter
TM model:
If the indicator comes on, turn the ignition switch to OFF and disconnect the indicator 6P connectorCheck for short circuit in the Bluered wire between the indicator connector and ECM connector If the wi re is OK, check the oil temperatu re indicator bulb socket
OIL TEMPERATURE SENSOR INSPECTION
Drain the engine oil (page 4-13)Disconnect the connector and remove the oil temperature sensor and sealing washerOil TEMPERATURE SENSOR
