PINION NEEDLE BEARING
Remove the stopper ring by rotating it until its end
appears in the access holeBend up the end of the ring with screwdriverGrasp the end of the ring with needle-nose pliers
and pull the stopper ring out through the access hole
Remove the oil filler cap
Heat the gear case to
TOOLS: Remover shaft, 15 mm Bearing remover, 15 mm Remover weight

needle bearing by using the special tools

Remove the bearing cage and bearings from the inside of the pinion bea ri ng to allow the special tool to grip the bearingInstall new stopper ring into the groove in new
