CRANKCASETRANSMISSIONCRANKSHAFTBALANCER Do not pry the
crankcase apart with iJ screwdriver
Remove the front crankcase while tapping it al severallocations with soft hammerRemove the two dowel pinsRemove any sealant material from the crankcase mating surfaces
OIL STRAINER CLEANING
Remove the oil strainer and strainer plateWash the strainer thoroughly in non-flammable or high ftash point solvent until all accumulated dirt has been removedBlow dry it with compressed ai to clean completelyBefore installing the strainer, the screen mesh should be examined closely for damage
