Once the tool is in lace, turn the adjusting bo lt as necessary to make the jaws paral lelThen hand-t ighten the pressure bolt and recheck the jaws to make sure they are still parallelTighten the pressure bo lt ith wrench unt il the ba ll joint stud pops looseRemove the ball joint nuts and washers, and the knuckle from the upper and lower arms
