Used engine oil may ca use skin cancer if repeatedly left in contact with the skin for prolo ng ed periodsAlth ough this is unlikely unless you hand le used oil on daily basis, it is sti ll advisable to horoughly wash your hands with soap and wate as soon as possib le afte handling used oil This section covers service of the oil pump, oil strainer (i the crankcase) and oil cooler The service procedures in this section can be periormed with the engine installed in the frame When removing and installing the oi pump, use care not to allow dust or dirt to enter the en gine After the oi pump, oi cooler andor oil pipes has been installed, check that there are no oil leaks Refer to page 4'0 for oil level check and oil change Refer to page 4-12 for oi filter replacement Refer to page 4-13 for oil straine (in the oi tankclean ing
