STEERING SHAFT HOLDER BEARING
Raise the front wheels off the round and support the vehicle securelyCheck that the handlebar moves freely from side to sideIf the hand lebar moves unevenly, binds, or has vertical movement, inspect the steering shaft holder bushing and bearings (page 13-24)
STEERING SYSTEM
Place the vehicle on level surface with the front wheels facing straight ahead Mark the centers of the tires with chalk to indicat the ax le center heightAlign the gauge with the marks on the tire as shown
Slowly move the vehicle back until the wheels have turned 180 so the marks on the tires are aligned with the gauge height on the rear sideMeasure the toe on the rear part of the tires at the same points with no load on the vehicle Toe-in: 11 15 mm (25 315 in)
