Be careful not to bend the connector terminals
Check the Pinkwhite wire for continuity between the ECM 21P (Gray) connector terminal and groundCheck the Pink wire for continuity between the front VSS 3P side (Black) connector terminal and groundIs there continuity? YES Short circuit in the Pinkwhite wire between the ECM connector and front VSS connector Short circuit in the Pink wire at the front VSSNO GO TO STEP 5PW P
5Front VSS Mechanical Inspection Check the rear VSS for correct installationRemove the front VSS (page 17-14), and check for any object on the sensor tip or ring gear surface, also check for damage on the sensor tipIs it installed correctly?
