LIGHTSMETERSSWITCHES With the fuel level sensor float at the top "FULL" position, turn the ignition switch to ON and check the fuel gaugeFLOAT

All segments up to segment "F" should come onTurn the ignition switch to OFF

SEGMENTS "F" Move the float to the bottom "RESERVE" position, turn the ignition switch to ON and check the fuel gaugeSegment "RES" should blinkIf the fuel gauge does not function properly, check the fuel level sensor (page 22-17)If the fuel level sensor is OK, replace the combination meterIf all segments blink during inspection, replace the combination meterTurn the ignition switch to OFFSEGMENTS "RES" Install new seal rubber onto the fuel level sensorInstall the retaining plate onto the sensor by aligning the tab with the groove
