ACCESSORY SOCKET
INSPECTION
Remove the front fender (page 2-11)Remove the accessory socket 2P (Black) connector from the frameMeasure the voltage between the Whiteblack (+) and Green () wire terminals of the wire harness side connectorThere should be battery voltage with the ignition switch turned to ONIf there is no voltage, check for brown fuse (10 A) and an open circuit in the wire harness2P (BLACK) CONNECTOR
Remove the accessory socket capCheck for continuity between the Whiteblack wire terminal of the socket side 2P (Natural) connector and bottom center terminal of the socket, and between the Green wire terminal and side wall terminalThere should be continuityIf there is no continuity, replace the accessory socket
