ELECTRIC STARTER Align the index lines on the front cover and motor caseInstall the set plates and new O-rings onto the motor case boltsInstall the motor case bolts and tighten them

INSTALLATION
Coat new O-ring with engine oil and install it into the starter motor grooveApply molybdenum oil solution to the starter motor shaft splinesO-RING
Set the water pump bypass hose properly (page 1-22)
Install the starter motor into the rear crankcase cover with the two mounting bolts and ground cable, and tighten the mounting boltsInstall the starter motor cable and nut onto the motor terminal and tighten the nut securelyInstall the rubber cap over the starter motor terminal properly
