REAR DRIVING MECHANISM PINION NEEDLE BEARING Remove the stopper ring by rotating it until the end of the stopper ring appears in the access holeStrike gently near the end of the ring with punch to bent the end upwardGrasp the end of the ring with needle-nosed pliers and pull the stopper ring out through the access holeBe sure to wear heavy gloves to avoid burns when handling the heated gear caseUsing torch to heat the gear case may cause warpage
BEARING
Heat the gear case to 80C (176F) and remove the needle bearing by using the special toolTOOLS: Bearing remover head, 14 mm 07WMC-KFG0100 Remover shaft Remover weight 07936-KC10100 07741-0010201 07936-3710200 or 07936-371020A (U.S.Aonly) Install the stopper ring into the groove using special tool
