SUB-TRANSMISSIONGEARSHIFT LINKAGE INSTALLATION Apply locking agent to the stopper arm pivot bolt threadsInstall the return spring as shownInstall the washer, stopper arm and pivot bolt, and tighten the boltTORQUE: 12 Nm (1.2 kgfm, lbfft) PIVOT BOLT RETURN SPRING
STOPPER ARM Insert the gearshift spindle into the crankcaseInstall the setting plate and tighten the bolt
GEARSHIFT SPINDLE
BOLT Apply oil to the shift drum guide groovesLower the stopper arm and installing the shift drum by aligning the index lug of the shift drum with the index line on the gearshift spindle
