ALTERNATORSTARTER CLUTCH Loosen the starter driven pulley bolt, and remove the pulley holder, bolt and pulleyCheck the starter motor shaft bearingReplace the bearing if the inner race does not turn smoothly, quietly, or if the outer race fits loosely in the alternator coverTo replace the bearing: Heat the alternator cover and remove the bearing using the special toolsTOOLS: Bearing remover shaft, 10 mm Bearing remover head, 10 mm Remover weight 07936-GE00100 07936-GE00200 07741-0010201 or 07936-371020A or 07936-3710200 (U.S.Aonly)
Be sure to press the bearing in evenly and flush with the surface
