CYLINDER HEADVALVECAMSHAFT If the ECT sensor was removed, apply sealant to the ECT sensor threadsDo not apply sealant to the sensor headInstall and tighten the ECT sensorTORQUE: 10 Nm (1.0 kgfm, lbfft) If the carburetor insulator was removed, install it, aligning its groove with the lug on the cylinder headInstall and tighten the spark plugTORQUE: 22 Nm (2.2 kgfm, 16 lbfft) GROOVE AND LUG Connect the ECT sensor connectorInstall the mounting rubbers on the upper engine hanger bushing with the large I.Dside facing inInstall the upper engine hanger bracket and boltsTighten the engine side hanger boltsTORQUE: 32 Nm (3.3 kgfm, 24 lbfft) Tighten the upper engine hanger nutTORQUE: 54 Nm (5.5 kgfm, 40 lbfft) Connect the bypass hoses to the cylinder headCONNECTOR BOLTS Coat the cam followers with oil and install them into the cylinder headInstall the following: water pump (page 6-12) cylinder head cover (page 8-22) thermostat (page 6-10) carburetor (page 5-18) exhaust pipe (page 2-14) CAM FOLLOWERS BOLT NUT BYPASS HOSES
