LUBRICATION SYSTEM CHECK VALVE INSPECTION Remove the oil gallery sealing bolt and washer on the right side of the front crankcase coverRemove the valve spring and check valveCheck the valve for wear, sticking or other damageCheck the spring for fatigue or damageInstall the check valve and springClean the sealing bolt threads and install it with new sealing washerTORQUE: 34 Nm (3.5 kgfm, 25 lbfft) SEALING BOLT WASHER CHECK VALVE SPRING

INSPECTION
Remove the radiator grille plate (page 3-16)Check the oil cooler pipe joints and seams for leaksCheck the oil cooler air passage for clogging or damageStraighten bent fins with small, flat blade screwdriver and remove insects, mud or other obstructions with compressed air or low pressure water
