LIGHTSMETERSSWITCHES If the motor does not start, remove the right engine air guide (page 3-12)Disconnect the fan motor 2P connectorMeasure the voltage between the wire harness side connector Blue wire terminal (+) and ground (-)There should be battery voltage with the ignition switch turned to ON If there is no voltage, check for open circuit in the Blue wire If there is voltage, check the Greenblack wire for continuity between the fan motor 2P connector and ECM 5P connectorIf there is continuity, replace the ECMIf there is no continuity, repair open circuit in the Greenblack wireFAN MOTOR 2P CONNECTOR
Fan motor does not stop Disconnect the 5P black connector from the ECM (page 21-16)Turn the ignition switch to ON and check the fan motorIf the fan motor does not start, replace the ECMIf the fan motor starts, remove the right engine air guide (page 3-12)Turn the ignition switch to OFFDisconnect the fan motor 2P connectorCheck for short circuit in the Greenblack wire between the fan motor 2P connector and ECM 5P connectorFAN MOTOR 2P CONNECTOR
