LIGHTSMETERSSWITCHES All segments up to segment "F" should come onTurn the ignition switch to OFFSEGMENT "F"
Move the float to the bottom (RESERVE) position, turn the ignition switch to ON and check the fuel gaugeSegment "RES" should blinkIf the fuel gauge does not function properly, check the fuel level sensor (page 21-14)If the fuel level sensor is OK, replace the combination meterIf all segments blink during inspection, replace the combination meterTurn the ignition switch to OFFSEGMENT "RES" Install new O-ring onto the fuel tankInstall the fuel level sensor into the fuel tank while aligning the groove with the boss on the fuel tankInstall and tighten the bolts securelyInstall the removed parts in the reverse order of removalO-RING GROOVE BOLTS FUEL LEVEL SENSOR
