IGNITION SYSTEM
IGNITION COIL
REPLACEMENT
Remove the fuel tank cover (page 3-5)Remove the spark plug cap from the plug and the spark plug wire from the clampDisconnect the primary wire connectors from the ignition coilRemove the two bolts, ground wire and the ignition coilInstall new ignition coil in the reverse order of removal
BOLTS, GROUND WIRE
IGNITION TIMING
Remove the recoil starter cover (page 3-4)Start the engine and warm it up operating temperatureStop the engine and remove the timing hole capRead the instruc- Connect the timing light and tachometer
