BATTERYCHARGING SYSTEM
BATTERY
REMOVALINSTALLATION
Remove the seat (page 3-4)With the ignition switch to OFF, disconnect the negative (-) cable first, then disconnect the positive (+) cableRemove the strap from the front side retainerRemove the batteryConnect the positive (+) cable first, then connect the negative (-) cable
Install the battery in the reverse order of removalAfter connecting the battery cables, coat the terminals with grease
VOLTAGE INSPECTION
Remove the seat (page 3-4)Measure the battery voltage using commercially available digital multimeterVOLTAGE (20C68F): Fully charged: 13.013.2 Under charged: Below 12.3 V
