Keep dust and dirt out of the differential housing
Install the face cam into the differential housingInstall six cam followers (rib) and six followers (flat) into the specified grooves in the housing by two and two as shown
CAM FOLLOWERS
HOUSING Install the face cam onto the cam followersMeasure the depth of the ring gear (page 16-20) and the height of the housing-to-cam (page 16-21), and record themCalculate the shim thickness using the equation belowThe correct shim is nearly this dimensionA-1.6 mm A: New shim thickness B: Recorded ring gear depth C: Recorded cam height
