BRAKE SYSTEM Install new boot into the master cylinder and the groove in the piston Apply silicone grease to the brake lever pivot-tomaster piston contact areaBOOT
Apply silicone grease to the brake lever pivot bolt sliding surfaceInstall the pivot bolt and tighten itTORQUE: (0.1 kgf m, 0.7 Ibf-ft) Install the pivot nut and tighten itTORQUE: 5.9 (0.6 kgf m, 4.4 Ibf-ft) Install the brake light switch and tighten the screwTORQUE: 1.2 (0.12 kgf m, 0.9 Ibf-ft)
PIVOT NUT Align the mating Install the front brake master cylinder and holder surface of the mas- with the "UP" mark facing upTighten the upper bolt ter cylinder and first, then tighten the lower boltholder with the lug on the throttle housing
