FRONT WHEELSUSPENSIONSTEERING Once the tool is in place, turn the adjusting bolt as necessary to make the jaws parallelThen hand-tighten the pressure bolt and recheck the jaws to make sure they are still parallelTighten the pressure bolt with wrench until the ball joint stud pops looseRemove the ball joint nuts and the knuckle from the upper and lower armsPRESSURE BOLT

INSPECTION
Turn the inner race of each bearing in the wheel hub (TM model) and knuckle (FMFE models) with your fingerThe bearings should turn smoothly and quietlyAlso check that the bearing outer race fits tightly in the hub or knuckleInspect the knuckle for damage or cracksInspect the ball joint boot for tears or other damage by moving the ball joint studIt should move freely and smoothlyBEARING
