DOWEL PINS
Remove the two dowel pinsRemove any sealant material from the crankcase mating surfaces
OIL STRAINER CLEANING
Remove the oil strainer and strainer plateWash the strainer thoroughly in non-flammable or high flash point solvent until all accumulated dirt has been removedBlow dry it with compressed air to clean completelyBefore installing the strainer, the screen mesh should be examined closely for damageInstall the strainer and plate with the wedge facing the crankcase
