Drain the engine oil (page 4-13)Remove the following:left and right center mud guards (page 3-6)left and right front mud guards (page 3-7)left and right inner fenders (page 3-7)exhaust system (page 3-13)carburetor assembly (page 6-6)heat guard plate (page 6-22)TMFM model only: pinch bolt and gearshift pedal
PINCH BOLT
Remove the bolt and battery ground cableRemove the rubber cap, terminal nut and starter motor cable
