GENERATING SYSTEM
GENERATING VOLTAGE INSPECTION
Start the engine and warm it up to the operating temperatureStop the engineRemove the top cover (page 3-5)Disconnect the handlebar switch 4P connectorConnect the voltmeter positive (+) probe to the Black wire terminal and negative (-) probe to the Green wire terminal of the wire harness side 4P connectorRestart the engineMeasure the generating voltage when the engine runs at 5,000 rpmThe voltage will STANDARD: 1316 drops about when the fan motor Connect the handlebar switch 4P connectoris runningInstall the top cover (page 3-5)
