MAINTENANCE RECOMMENDED ANTIFREEZE: Pro Honda HP coolant or an equivalent high quality ethylene glycol antifreeze containing silicatefree corrosion inhibitors
Using coolant with silicate corrosion inhibitors may cause premature wear of water pump seals or blockage of radiator passagesUsing tap water may cause engine damageIf the reserve tank becomes completely empty, there is possibility of air getting into the cooling systemBe sure to remove any air from the cooling system (page 9-7)
COOLING SYSTEM
Check for any coolant leakage from the water pump, water hoses (radiator and by-pass hoses) and hose jointsCheck the water hoses for cracks or deterioration and replace if necessaryCheck that all hose clamps are tight
