ELECTRIC SHIFT PROGRAM (ESP: TEFE model) - Electric shift does not operate (page 22-6) andorFaulty gear pos ition indicator (eg does not indicate the problemkeeps indicating the same gear positionindicates diHerent gear position than what the transmiss ion is in) 4After performing the above troubleshooting steps and repair ing the prob lemdelete the codes as follows:Turn the ignition switch to "OFF "- Place the transmiss ion in neutral- Apply the parking brake so the veh icle does not move- Push both he Upshift and Downshift switches toON "- Wh ile push ing themturn the ignition switch toON "n Before the letterappears on the shift position nd icator (i about seconds ), release both the shift switches, then push them aga in more tha secondsIf the switches are not re leased and pushed within seconds, the cod number will not appear- While the indicator is showing the problem code (ie the" is bl inking with the transmission in neutral ), push both electric shift switches to delete the problem code number- Turn the ignition swi tch to "OFF "
