ELECTRIC STARTER
TROUBLESHOOTING
NOTEThe starter motor should operate only when the transmission is in neutral with the ignition switch ON
Starter motor will not turn
Check for blown fuse (15 Al Check hat the battery is fully charged and in good condition ,Battery Cable Connection Inspection Check for loose or poorly connected bal1ery cable, and open circuit in battery cable
Are all battery cable connections good?
NO YES Poorly connected bal1ery cab le Open circuit in battery cableGO TO STEP 2
2Starter Relay Switch Connection Inspection
Check for loose or poorly connected starter relay switch terminals and connector
Are all starter relay connections good?
NO YESPoorly connected terminals or connectorGO TO STEP 3
3Starter Motor Cable Inspection
Check for loose or poorly connected starter motor cable, and open circuit in starter motor cable
