ALTERNATOR CHARGING COIL
INSPECTION
Discon nect the alternator 5P (white) connecto rMeasure the resistance between the Yellow wi re te rmina ls of the alternator side connector
STANDARD:1.0
Check for continuity between each Yellow wire term inal of the alternator side con nector and grou ndThere should be no cont inuityReplace the alternator stator if resistance is out of specification, or if any wire has continuity to groundSee page 11 -7 for alterna tor stator replacement
