CLUTCHGEARSHIFT LINKAGE Apply eng ine oil to new gearshift spindle oi seal and joint shaft oi sea lips and insta ll them with the flat side acing outClean th crankcase and cove mating surfacesBlow th roug th oil passages in the front crankcase cover with comp ressed airApply liq uid sealant to the mating surface (s hadowed area) of th front cra nkcase cover as shown
Insta ll the two dowel pins and the front cra nkcase cove r, being careful not to damage the oil seal lips
Install the twelve bolts with the engine side cover stay and tighten them in crisscross panern in several stepsInstall the oi level dipstick
