CYLINDER HEADVALVE
SERVICE INFORMATION
GENERAL
This section covers service of the cylinder head, rocker arms, va lves and camshaftTo service the camshaft, the engine must be removed from the frame When disassembling, mark and store the disassembled parts to ensure that they are reinstalled in their original locations Clean all disassembled parts with clean ing solvent and dry them by blowing them off with compressed air before inspection Rocker arm and valve lubricating oil is fed through oil passages in the cylinder head and head coverClean the oil pas sages before assembling cylinder head Be careful not to damage the mating surfaces when removing th cy lind er head cover and cy linder head Do not strike th cylinder head too hard during removal
