When removing and installing the enginetape the frame around the engine beforehand for frame protect ion The following components require engine removal for seNice:alternator and starter clutch (page 11-7- tra nsmission (including shih fork and sh ih drum) (pa ge 12-9)crankshaft and balancer (pag 12-16) Other components without above can be serviced with the engine insta lled in the frame
