COOLING SYSTEM RADIATOR CAPSYSTEM PRESSURE INSPECTION
Rem ove he radi ator cap (pag 7-5)TESTER
Wet th sealing surfaces of the cap then install he
cap onto tes te rTOOLS:
Cooling system pressure tester
Cooling system adaptor
SVTS4AH OTCJ33984A
Pressurize the rad iat or cap us ing the testerReplace he radi ator cap if it does not hold press ure, or jf relief press ure is too hig to lowIt ust hold he specified pressure for at least seconds
RADIATOR CAP REUEF PRESSURE:
108-137 kPa 11.1-1.4kgflcm Z,16-20psil
Excessive pressure can damage the coohng system

Pressur test the rad iat oreng ine and hoses, and check fo leaksRepai replace co mponents if th syste will not hol the specified pressu re fo at least secondsRemove he teste and install th rad iat or capInstall th ri ht fr nt fender (page 3-5)
