Remove the starter gear cover, starter reduction gear and shaft (page 11 -21, Remove he sealrear fender (page 2-4),
When the ignition switch OFF, remove the negative ca ble at Ihe battery before servicing the starter motorRelease the rubber cap and remove Ihe terminal nut to disconnect the staner mOlor cable
