STARTER IDLE GEAR! REDUCTION GEAR
Remove the rear crankcase cover (page 11-2),
Remove the staner idle gear and shaftRemove the starter reduction gear, shaft and thrust washerCheck the starter dle gear and reduction gear for wear or damageApply molybdenum oil solution to the starter idle gear shaft outer surface and reduction gear shaft outer surfaceApply engine oil the starter idle gear teeth and reduction gear teeth
