Install the dowel pin into the gearshift drum
Install the drum shifter while holding the gearshift drum stopper arm using screw driverNOTE: The transmission is in neutral when the dowel pin is aligned with the index mark (boss) on the crankcaseIf the transmission is not in neutralTemporarily nstall the gearshift cam plate bolt onto the gear shift drum, then turn the cam plate bolt and align the dowel pin with the ndex mark (boss) on the crankcase to place the transmission is in neutral
