GENERAL
A floor jack or other adjustable support is required to support and maneuver the engineWhen removinginstaliing the engine, ape the frame arou nd the engine beforehand fo frame protection, The following component require engine removal for service- oil strainer screen (section 3)transmission, gearshift drum, shift fork (section 12)crankshaftconnecting rod (section 12)crankcase (section 12) The following components can be serviced with the engine in th frame- oil pump, oil cooler (section 4)carburetor (section 5)cylinder head, valve (section 7)cylinder, pist on, camshaft (section 8)change clutch, centr ifugal clutch (section 9)gea rshift linkage, reverse stopper shaft (section 10)alte rnatorstator, ig ition pulse generator (sect ion 11)flywheelsta rt er clu tch and starter idle gea r, reduct ion gear (section 11)starter motor (section 19)
