A CAUTION
Used engine oil may cause skin cancer if repeatedly left in contact with the skin for prolonged periodsAlthough this is unlikely unless you handle used oil on daily basis, it is still advisable to thoroughly wash your hands with soap and water as soon as possible after handling used oilThis section covers service of the oil pump and oit coolerFor oil level check, oil change, oil strainer screen cleaning and centrifugal filter cleaning, refer to sect ion 3The service procedures in this section ca be performed with the engine installed in the frameWhen removing and installing the oil pump use care not to allow dust or dirt to enter the engineIf any portion of the oil pump is worn beyond the specif ied service limits, replace the oil pu as an assemblyAfter oil pump, oil cooler andlor oil hoses have been installed, check for oil leaks
