BRAKE SYSTEM
INSPECTION FOR AIR IN HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
Firmly apply the brake lever, and check that no air has entered the systemFRONT BRAKE LEVER FREE PLAY: 10-25 mm (38-1 in)
If the lever feels soft or spongy when operated, bleed the air from the systemRefer to page 153 for air bleeding proceduresInspect the brake hoses and fittings for deterioration, cracks, damage or signs of leakageTighten any loose fittingsReplace hoses, pipes and fittings as required15-20
