ACCESSORY SOCKET
INSPECTION
Remove the right inner fender (pag 26 )Disconnect the accessory socket 2P (g reen) co nnecto rM easure the vol tage between the Whitelblack {+I and Gree l-I wire terminals of the wire harness side co n-
nectorThe re should be battery voltage with the ig nitio sw itch ONIf here is no vol tage, check for op en ci rcu it in related wi resRem ove he accesso ry socket capCheck for continuity between the Whit ebla ck wi re termi nal of the socket side 2P conn ector and bottom center er ina of the socket and between he Green wi re terminal and side wa ll terminalThere should be continuityIf there is no con inuity, replace the accessory socket
REPLACEMENT
Remove the assist headlight (page 22-21 Release the accessory socket ire fr om ire clip on he steering shaft holderl oo sen the lock nut and rem ove the accessory socket Install new accessory socket by aligning the lug with th groove in the headlight cov erRoute he accesso ry socket ire pr operly (page 1-19) and con nector he 2P conn ect orInst all the rem oved parts in he reve rse order of removal
