ENGINE OIL
lEVEL CHECK
Before checking the engine ojllevelMake sure the vehicle is on level groundRem ove the dipstick from the oil tank and wipe it cleanInsert the dipstick without screwing it inthen remove the dipstick and check the oil levelIf the oil level is above the tip mark, replace he di pstick and proceed to the oil level check procedureIf the oil does not stick to the dipstick or the oil level is be low the tip mark, do not start the engineBefore starting the engineremove the oil filler cap and add the specified oil into the filler cap hole, up the lower level mark on the dipstickDo not over fillReinstall the oil filte cap and di pstickProceed the oil level check procedure
ACAUTION
Used engine oil may cause skin cance if repeatedly left in contact with the skin for prolonged periodsAlthough this is unlikely unless you handle used oil on daily basis, it is still advisable thoroughly wash your hands with soa and water as soo as poss ible afte hand li ng used oil
Ojl Leyel Check Procedu re Place the vehicle on level groundStart the engine and let it idle for minutesIf the air temperature is below lOGC lSOGFIlet the engine idle for an additional minutes (a total of 10 minutes)Do not snap the hr ott le white idling or the oil level reading will be innaccurate
