ELECTRIC STARTER Align the index lines on the front cover and motor caseInstall the set plates and new O-rings onto the motor case boltsInstall the motor case bolts and tighten themO-RING SET PLATE
INSTALLATION
Coat new O-ring with engine oil and install it into the starter motor grooveInstall the dowel pin into the crankcase coverO-RING
DOWEL PIN Install the starter motorInstall the mounting bolts with the bracket as shown and tighten themConnect the starter motor cable to the motor terminal with the terminal nut and tighten itInstall the rubber cap over the motor terminal securelyInstall the air cleaner housing (page 5-3)BRACKET CABLE
