ELECTRIC STARTER
STARTER MOTOR
REMOVAL
Remove the air cleaner housing (page 5-3)When the ignition switch OFF, remove the negative cable at the battery before servicing the starter motorRelease the rubber cap and remove the terminal nut to disconnect the starter motor cableRemove the two mounting bolts with the air cleaner housing bracket and the starter motor from the crankcase coverRemove the dowel pin from the crankcase coverRemove the O-ring from the starter motor
