BRAKE SYSTEM Install the boot into the master cylinder and the groove in the pistonApply silicone grease to the brake lever contacting surface of the pistonApply silicone grease to the brake lever pivotInstall the brake lever and pivot bolt, and tighten itTORQUE: Nm (0.6 kgfm4.3 lbfft) Install the pivot nut and tighten itTORQUE: Nm (0.6 kgfm4.3 lbfft) BOOT BOLT AND NUT
Install the master cylinder and holder with the UP'' mark facing upAlign the end of the master cylinder with the punch mark on the handlebar, and tighten the upper bolt first, then tighten the lower boltTORQUE: 12 Nm (1.2 kgfmlbfft) Connect the brake hose to the master cylinder with the oil bolt and new sealing washers by aligning the hose joint with the stopper grooveTighten the oil boltTORQUE: 34 Nm (3.5 kgfm25 lbfft) Fill and bleed the front brake hydraulic system (page 14-3)
