FRONT WHEELSUSPENSIONSTEERING INSPECTION Remove the lower pivot collar and dust sealsCheck the pivot collar for wear or damageDUST SEAL
Check the bushings for wear or damageCheck the damper unit for leakage or other damageReplace the shock absorber assembly if necessary
INSTALLATION
Apply molybdenum disulfide paste to the lower bushing of the shock absorberCoat new dust seal lips with molybdenum disulfide paste and install them into the lower pivot until they are fully seatedInstall the lower pivot collar
