REMOVAL
Remove the air cleaner housing (page 5-3)Remove the wire clip from the recoil starter housingRemove the three mounting bolts and the recoil starter assembly

Remove the following: bolt ratchet cover
BOLT AND COVER
ratchet guide and spring seat spring ratchet and pin Check each part for wear or damage
