LUBRICATION SYSTEM
OIL COOLER
INSPECTION
Check the oil cooler air passage for clogging or damageStraighten bent fins with small, flat blade screwdriver and remove insects, mud or other obstructions with compressed airCheck for any oil leakage from the oil cooler and hose jointsOIL COOLER
REMOVALINSTALLATION
Drain the engine oil (page 3-11)Remove the inner fenders (page 2-9)Disconnect the oil hoses from the oil cooler by removing the joint bolts and remove the O-ringsRemove the mounting bolts and the oil cooler out of the frame to the left, being careful not to damage the cooler finsReplace the Orings with new ones and coat them with engine oil
MOUNTING BOLTS
Installation is in the reverse order of removalOIL HOSES OIL COOLER O-RINGS JOINT BOLTS CONNECTORS BAND
